Information

Under this term we understand stretching of abdominal skin and abdominal muscles of delivered women, often accompanied by liposuction of adjacent areas. The scar is on the lower part of abdomen, above pubis and is hidden in panties. Operation is carried out under total anesthesia, it suggests preliminary shaving of pubis region, staying at the clinic for a night at least and wearing of tight panty in the next month. Several days after the operation pains may appear in abdominal region due to the stitch of abdominal muscles. Hard physical labour may be recovered minimum a month after the intervention.

What should the patient know prior to be subjected to this intervention:
1.To be supplied with tight elastic panty, to be used within 4 weeks after the intervention.
2. To avoid Aspirin administration 1 week prior to the operation.
3. Blood tests.
4. Drainage– taking out on the next day together with the tightened dressing.
5. Stitches are taken out 14 days after the intervention.
6. To take no shower up to 5 days after the intervention to avoid wetting of wound (alternative methods of hygiene are recommended).
7. To avoid heavy physical labour, lifting of heavy objects and sport at least a month after the intervention.
