Changes under the new instruction for examinations of Green Card applicants

Under the new instruction for examinations of applicants for green cards, the parents of the children have the right to choose whether the child be made Mantoux test or blood test.

Procedure for testing children aged 2 to 14 years:

Mantoux performed at the first visit of the child to the clinic as the child must have a passport for identification. The sample is reported in 48-72 hours after placing it, for which purpose the child must again be brought to the clinic. Then you get the final medical statement.

Blood test - at the first clinic visit during the examination is taken blood for tests. Due to the specificity of the test, blood is taken from Monday to Wednesday all day and Thursday until 12:00. T spot blood tests are not taken on Friday. The results of the blood test will be done after 48 hours when families will be able to receive the documents. In this case there is no need of following presence of the child in the clinic.
