The surgical outpatient clinic provides diagnosis and treatment of conditions that are primarily managed through surgical intervention:
- emergency care and treatment of bruises and injuries to all parts of the body — including wound cleaning, suturing, and tetanus protection
- surgical removal and treatment of benign growths such as: atheromas, lipomas, fibromas, ingrown nails, and others, performed under local anaesthesia
- incision and drainage of abscesses, and treatment of skin infections and inflammatory conditions, as well as successful treatment of long-standing, difficult-to-heal wounds resulting from past injuries, thrombophlebitis, and others
- varicose veins, thrombophlebitis, post-thrombophlebitic syndrome
- haemorrhoids, fissures, cysts, and abscesses in the anal area
- correction of congenital conditions such as: phimosis, short frenulum of the penis, and others
