Obstetrics and gynecology is one of the main medical specialties. It deals with prevention, diagnosis and outpatient treatment of gynecological diseases in women of all ages, with early detection and monitoring of pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period.

Maternity ward of Vita Hospital
The maternity ward of VITA Hospital is located on the second floor of the building. It has 21 rooms - single and double, equipped with private bathroom, TV and unlimited wireless internet. The Department has a Department for childbirth, a Department for the post-birth period and a Department for "Pathological pregnancy."
The delivery sector includes two Antenatal Rooms with two beds each, where the progress of the birth is monitored, as well as two delivery beds in the Delivery Room for the birth process itself. In the immediate vicinity is the Operating Room for operative delivery by Caesarean section.

The delivery room is equipped with a thermal bed for the newborn. Immediately after birth, the baby is taken over by a neonatologist, who performs its first examination. The care of the newborn child continues until its discharge in the most professional way possible in the Department of Neonatology of Vita. The maternity ward has a Resuscitation Room where mother and baby stay together for two hours after birth for observation. This is the first opportunity to form such an important and cherished bond between mother and baby.
