The Vita Hernia Center specializes in the most innovative surgical techniques in the treatment of all types of abdominal hernias. Although there are different types of hernias and different techniques for repairing the abdominal wall, in each specific case we use the most appropriate method in order to reduce the recurrence rate. Our specialists have devoted more than 15 years to the diagnosis and treatment of this disease.

Hernia treatment:
-    Conventional (traditional) surgery by means of an incision and hernioplasty - using own tissue.
-    Modifications of hernioplasty with implantation of a polypropylene prosthesis, known as techniques without tissue tension.
-    Laparoscopic (bloodless) operation - using micro-instruments and under video control. It is characterized by less postoperative pain, better patient comfort and faster recovery.
