Regular check-ups allow for early detection of any condition and make minimally invasive, highly effective treatment possible.

Diagnosis includes:

• Consultation and assessment of the type and severity of symptoms

• Uroflowmetry — for an objective and accurate assessment of urinary flow
• PSA (prostate-specific antigen) tumour marker test

Men's Health (Andrology)

Andrology is the branch of urology that focuses on conditions of the male reproductive system. The Urology Department at VITA Hospital has a team of experienced specialists and modern equipment for full diagnosis and treatment of conditions such as phimosis, hydrocele, varicocele, testicular tumours, and erectile dysfunction. The department works in close collaboration with the VITA In Vitro Centre to address issues related to male fertility.

Urological Oncology

Urological oncology is a subspecialty of urology focused on tumours and cancers of the prostate, bladder, kidneys, and male reproductive system. In most cases, surgical treatment is necessary. VITA Hospital has a team of experienced specialists and modern laparoscopic equipment (Olympus and Karl Storz) for minimally invasive surgery of bladder tumours and other urological conditions.
