ENTERTAINMENT AND MANY SURPRISES FOR THE CHILDREN ON THE OCCASION OF JUNE 1
In cooperation with Sofia Municipality - "Oboriste", "Vita" Hospital with the support of "Nestle Bulgaria" will celebrate with special activities The World Children’s Day on June 1 in the metropolitan park "Vladimir Zaimov".
Directly in front of the playground in the park (on Krakra str.) will be located stand where parents will have the opportunity to receive a free consultation for the physical development of their children. The event will start at 10:00 and continue until 14:00 p.m.
Besides consultations, children will have the opportunity to participate in various sports games, such as mini football Cup, and other individual and team sports competitions for children over 1 year. In addition to this a drawing competition will be organized on the asphalt. There are many surprises for the children on the occasion.
The activities are part of the hospital's initiative to combat childhood obesity and the campaign "The first 1000 days and after that" - the initiative is supported by the Ministry of Health. Its main goal is to increase our knowledge of maternal nutrition during pregnancy and nutrition of infants and young children up to 2 years of age, and to promote the standards adopted in the Code of the World Health Organization as early as 1981. Studies show that errors in nutrition during the first 1000 days of life are directly related to the development of diseases such as diabetes, nutritional and respiratory allergies, and overweight.
