Prime soloist of the Sofia Opera Nikola Hadjitanev underwent successful surgery by bilateral hernia in "Vita Hernia Center". When did you realize you have a problem and what were the first symptoms that you noticed?

A few months ago I had a massage. My therapist suspected that I might have a hernia and advised me to consult a specialist. Honestly I have not felt much symptoms such as pain or anything, but the term "pain" with us is a little different.

Have you taken any measures to treat the condition before you came to the hospital for surgery, and if so - what?

I only tried to warm up well before going on stage, and to be more careful during maintenance.

What made you decide to undergo surgery?

I figured that the sooner I fix this problem, the better. I did not want to find myself into a situation where it could ruin my performance on stage.
