Information

Very often in everyday life, work or sport is spoken for overtension, overloading, overcrick of muscles, tendons and articular ligaments. In most cases, behind these popular definitions  and not always used correctly and on the correct place, hide different lesions by their nature and etiology and being consequences from acute trauma or chronic microtraumatization of locomotory apparatus.

In locomotory apparatus participate: bones connected each other in joints; muscles, tendons and their sheaths; nervous system. Joint are surrounded from each side by the articular capsule, filled with articular (synovial) fluid and are strengthened by articular ligaments. Each muscle has initial connection place on the bone, muscular corps, tendon and filled with mucous fluid which facilitates motions.

In each one of these units, at definite conditions, may develop non-bacterial /aseptic/ inflammation. Conditions for development of such inflammation are created by the repeating motions. Such are observed in the production cycle – for example work on a conveyor has high frequency of stereotype motions. There are prerequisites also in the modern way of work with computer as well as in all types of sports in practice. In the sport-traumatological practice there are lesions of periosteal soft tissues, often being different from the everyday one and related to the specificity of loading in the relevant sport.
