Preslava Bikovska is currently on maternity leave.
She is part of the team of specialists at MBAL and DCC VITA since May 2019.
She holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Child, Adolescent and School Psychology from Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski".
She is currently a full-time doctoral candidate in the program "Developmental Psychology in Childhood and Adolescence" at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski", with her research interests focused on: mental health and wellbeing in pregnant women, their partners and babies, early parent-child relationships, and relational risk.
She specializes in systemic family therapy and psychodrama.
She has completed training at the Anna Freud Center, UK, and is certified to work with children and families using the method of mentalization-based therapy. She has 10 years of experience providing psychological support to families, children, individuals, and groups in centers for children with developmental disorders, in a hospital setting, and in private practice.
