Dr. Valentin Pelinkov graduated in Medicine from the Medical University of Pleven in 1988. He holds two specialties - "Neurology" and "Neurosurgery".
After graduating, he began working by assignment at the Municipal Hospital in Cherven Bryag in the neurology department. He subsequently worked at the Medical University of Pleven.
From 1992 to 1995, he completed specializations at University Hospital "Alexandrovska", UMBAL "Tsaritsa Yoanna - ISUL", and the Military Medical Academy.
He worked at MBAL "Tokuda Hospital Sofia" from its opening.
He has completed courses in microsurgery and neurotraumatology.
Dr. Pelinkov holds a certificate for a completed course in spinal surgery under the guidance of Prof. Edward Benzel, Cleveland Clinic, USA.
He has also completed a course in neuroendoscopy in Stuttgart, Germany, and holds certificates for completed courses in minimally invasive techniques in spinal surgery. He is a member of the world organization for spinal surgery - AO Spine.
