Zhivko Siromahov MD

Information

Dr. Zhivko Siromahov is a urologist with expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of malignant diseases of the urinary system, transurethral surgery, and endourology. He has been part of the team at MBAL and DCC VITA since March 2021.

He performs modern surgical treatment of a wide range of urological conditions – urolithiasis, benign prostatic hyperplasia, urinary incontinence, uro-oncology, and urinary tract infections. His main scientific and professional interests are in the field of uro-oncology, laparoscopic urology, and the application of lasers in urology. Dr. Siromahov does not examine children.

Education:
Graduated from the Medical University of Varna in 2014. From 2014 to 2020 he specialized in Urology at the Urology Clinic of the University Specialized Hospital for Oncology under the supervision of Prof. Krasimir Neykov. He has authored numerous publications and has participated in international symposia both in Bulgaria and abroad.

Qualifications:

In 2018, nominated by colleagues in the Credoweb campaign “The Doctor Who Inspires Me – Urology Specialty”.
Completed courses in Laser Urology (Barcelona), Surgical Treatment of BPH (Heilbronn), Reconstructive Urology (Berlin), Ultrasound Diagnostics (London), Kidney Transplantation (Madrid), Diagnosis and Treatment of Prostate Cancer (Vienna), Diagnosis and Treatment of Bladder Cancer (Munich), and the Basic Course of the European Association of Urology (Prague).
Specialization at the Urology Clinic, First Moscow State Medical University, Russia.
Individual course in Vascular Surgery at Acibadem City Clinic, Sofia.
Co-author of two oncology textbooks for medical students.
Member of the Bulgarian Medical Association, the European Association of Urology, and the World Association of Urology.
