October is an ideal time to get a flu vaccine, giving the body enough time to build immunity before flu season begins. VITA Hospital is launching a flu immunization campaign, offering vaccinations for both children and adults.
For children, vaccination must be preceded by a pediatric consultation (by appointment) at a cost of 50 BGN / 25.56 €. The administration of the vaccine itself costs 15 BGN / 7.67 €. Vaccines can be purchased either at VITA Hospital or from a pharmacy of the patient's choice.
Two types of vaccines are available – Influvac and Vaxigrip. The choice depends on individual preferences and the advice of the healthcare provider.
Vaccination is available at both VITA Hospital locations:
VITA Base 1, 9 Dragovitsa St. – from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM
VITA Base 2, 10 “Filip Kutev” Blvd. – from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on weekdays for adults, and from Monday to Thursday for children.
