He graduated from the Medical University of Sofia and obtained his specialty in Otorhinolaryngology. In 2010, he obtained the academic and scientific degree of Doctor of Medicine. He is the author of 50 publications in the field of ear, nose and throat disorders in Bulgarian and international scientific journals.
