Dr. Nikolay Filipov is part of the team of specialists at the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology at VITA Hospital and VITA Medical Center.
Education:
Dr. Nikolay Filipov graduated in Medicine from the Medical University of Sofia in 1999. In 2011, he obtained a specialty in Orthopedics and Traumatology.
Biography:
Dr. Filipov began his career in 2001 at the Sports Medicine Clinic of the Specialized Hospital for Active Treatment in Orthopedics and Sports Medicine (SBALTOSM) – Prof. Dr. Dimitar Shoilev. He worked there as a resident physician until 2013.
Between 2006 and 2013, he served as a medical consultant for the football club PSFC “Chernomorets” in Burgas.
In 2014, he was appointed Head of the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology at the Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Clinic “Sportclinic Eurovita” Ltd. in Sofia.
Professional Qualifications:
Dr. Filipov has extensive experience in treatment with growth factors.
