Denitsa Anastasova is a clinical psychologist at MBAL and DCC VITA since 2021, with professional experience in the fields of addictions and healthy eating.
She is a certified consultant in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is a structured, short-term approach focused on resolving current problems through changes in dysfunctional thinking and behavior. She is currently specializing in Neo-Reichian Analytical Psychosomatic Therapy. The psychosomatic-oriented approach is holistic and views the person as a unity of body and mind.
She holds a Master's degree in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Veliko Tarnovo University "St. St. Cyril and Methodius". Denitsa has experience in counseling adults, teenagers, and their families on various issues - anxiety, depression, fears, addictions, existential crises (interpersonal conflicts, loss, separation, traumatic experiences), and others.
Denitsa Anastasova has numerous additional trainings, courses, and seminars with a practical focus. Her professional competencies lie in individual and group psychological counseling. She conducts trainings and workshops in the areas of personal growth, improving parenting skills, prevention of psychoactive substance use, and others.
