Dr. Albena Spasova-Dzhonova has been part of the team at Vita Hospital since June 2026.
Prior to this, she practiced at SBALBБ "St. Sofia" and SBALDБ "Prof. Dr. Ivan Mitev" EAD, where she successively held the positions of specialist physician, chief assistant, acting deputy director of medical activities, and head of clinic.
Dr. Spasova-Dzhonova performs diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic diseases in childhood. Her professional interests lie in the field of pediatric pulmonology, respiratory diseases, and pediatrics. She also performs ultrasound diagnostics.
Education:
Graduated from the Medical University of Sofia in 1992. She obtained her specialty in Pediatrics in 2004, and her specialty in Pediatric Pneumology and Phthisiatry in 2009. In 2004, she completed a specialization in ultrasound diagnostics at the Gastroenterology Clinic of Hospital "Tsaritsa Yoanna". In 2017, she obtained the academic and scientific degree of "Doctor" (PhD) at the Medical University of Sofia.
