Dr. Antonia Gerganova is an obstetrician-gynecologist specialist with over 25 years of experience. She performs examinations, consultations, outpatient tests, procedures and treatment of the full range of obstetric-gynecological conditions and diseases: preventive examinations, Pap smear, colposcopy, ultrasound diagnostics, pregnancy monitoring, contraception, hormonal disorders, menstrual cycle disorders, climacteric and menopause.
From 1996 to 2000, Dr. Gerganova worked as a clinical resident at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UMBAL "Maychin Dom". After obtaining her specialty, she worked at MC "St. Dimitar", Sofia. At UMBAL "Acibadem CityClinic Hospital Tokuda" she worked for 20 years - from the founding of the hospital in 2006. Since 01.09.2026 she has joined the team of DCC VITA, Sofia.
Education:
She graduated from Medical University Sofia in 1993. She obtained her specialty in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2000 after a clinical residency at SBALAG "Maychin Dom".
Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in operative gynecology
- Courses in Laparoscopy, Hysteroscopy, Gynecological Endocrinology
- Certified specialist in ultrasound diagnostics in obstetrics and gynecology, pediatric gynecology, colposcopy, high-risk delivery
- Participation in numerous national congresses and seminars in the specialty
She speaks English and Russian.
Dr. Gerganova does not see pediatric patients.
