Dr. Borislav Petrov has been part of the DCC VITA team since October 2025. His main interests are in the field of diseases of the musculoskeletal system, myology, systemic connective tissue diseases, and autoimmune diseases.
Education:
- He graduated from Medical University Varna in 2014. In 2021 he obtained his specialty in Internal Medicine, and is currently specializing in Rheumatology.
Qualifications:
- Member of the Bulgarian Medical Association
- Participation in national and international congresses and seminars
- Successfully completed a course in abdominal ultrasound, 2023
Biography:
His professional path began at UMBAL Pirogov, where he worked for more than 4 years in the field of internal medicine. Since 2018 he has been part of the team of the Clinic of Internal Medicine and the Clinic of Intensive Care at VMA Sofia. Since 2024 he has also been working and specializing in the Department of Rheumatology at VMA.
He conducts examinations in Bulgarian, English and Russian.
Dr. Petrov does not see pediatric patients.
