She graduated in Medicine in 1987 from the Military Medical Academy (VMA), Sofia. Immediately after graduation, she practiced as a district physician, and also worked at the "Dar" health clinic in Sofia. From 1999, she specialized in Ophthalmology at V MBAL, Sofia. Since 2019, she has also been part of the team of specialists at MBAL VITA, Sofia.
