Dr. Elena Kokonova has been part of the Department of Obstetrics and High-Risk Pregnancy at MBAL VITA and DCC VITA since January 2026.
Education:
- Graduated from the Medical University of Sofia in 2021. She obtained her specialty in Obstetrics and Gynecology in December 2025 at SBALAG "Maichin Dom", Sofia.
- As a resident physician, Dr. Kokonova practiced at MBAL "Serdika" and SBALAG "Maichin Dom" from 2021 to 2025, and at MC Oscar Clinic.
She performs consultations and modern treatment of obstetric and gynecological conditions. Her interests lie in the fields of establishing and monitoring pregnancy, normal and operative delivery, termination of unwanted pregnancy, and preventive gynecological examinations.
Qualifications:
- Member of the Bulgarian Medical Association in a Bulgarian Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Participation in national and international congresses and seminars in the specialty
Speaks English and German.
