Dr. Hashem Houech has been part of the VITA Hospital team since November 2025.
He graduated in Medicine from the Medical University of Sofia in 2014. In 2020, he obtained a specialty in Orthopedics and Traumatology from the same university.
His professional career began in 2015 at Serdika Hospital in Sofia, where he completed his specialization in Orthopedics and Traumatology under the supervision of Dr. N. Tivchev. During his specialization, he was actively involved in the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries, spinal surgery, and joint endoprosthetics.
Between 2021 and 2023, he worked in Germany for the leading hospital chain Helios Kliniken (including ENDO-Klinikum Hamburg) as a specialist in Orthopedics and Traumatology, focusing on special traumatology and minimally invasive joint replacement.
From 2023 to 2025, he was part of the Orthopedics and Traumatology Department at Heart and Brain Hospital in Burgas, where he worked alongside Prof. H. Röttinger.
He has completed advanced training at the University Hospital of Hamburg and the University Hospital of Heidelberg. He has also participated in numerous internationally recognized orthopedic courses and workshops in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Hungary, Slovenia, and Bulgaria, with a focus on:
