Dr. Kiparisia Nenova

Information

Dr. Kiparisia Nenova is a pediatrician and pediatric cardiologist with over 25 years of medical experience. She performs cardiology consultations and clinical examinations of children aged 0 to 18 years, echocardiography, ECG, Holter blood pressure monitoring, and Holter ECG. She follows children and adults with congenital heart defects (CHD) before and after cardiac surgery. Her main interests are in the field of non-invasive methods for examining the cardiovascular system and interventional cardiology in patients with CHD - diagnosis, transcatheter treatment of atrial septal defect, patent ductus arteriosus, aortic and pulmonary stenosis, and coarctation of the aorta.

Education:
Dr. Nenova graduated in medicine from the Medical University - Sofia in 2000. In 2008 she obtained her specialty in pediatrics, and in 2011 - in pediatric cardiology. She holds a Master’s degree in Public Health and Health Management from the Medical University - Sofia.

Biography:

Until 2008, she worked as a pediatrician in outpatient care and at УМБАЛ - the city of Burgas. From 2008 to the present, she has worked in the Clinic of Pediatric Cardiology at МБАЛ “National Cardiology Hospital” - Sofia;
Since 2017, she has also been part of the team of specialists at МЦ за СМП НКБ София;
Part-time lecturer at the Department of Pediatrics of the Medical University - Sofia.

Qualifications:

• Certificates in pediatric echocardiography and invasive pediatric cardiology from the Medical University - Sofia
• Training course of the American Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions in the USA - December 2017
• Specialization in invasive cardiology in patients with CHD in Munich, Germany - March 2023
• Participation in national and international congresses and seminars in the specialty, publications in Bulgarian journals.
