Dr. Miglena Dimova graduated with honors from Medical University Sofia in 2021. She is currently a medical resident in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Her interests are in the field of:
- Preventive gynecological examinations
- Colposcopy, early diagnosis, prevention and treatment of precancerous changes of the cervix
- Ultrasound examination of the female reproductive system
- Endoscopic surgery: diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy; laparoscopy for the treatment of ovarian cysts, endometriosis, myomatous nodules
- Surgical treatment of ovarian cysts, endometriosis, myomatous nodules
Qualifications:
- Hysteroscopy course: Hysteroscopic Skills Training - GESEA HYSTT1
- Laparoscopy course: Laparoscopic Skills Training - GESEA LASTT1 + SUTT1
- Certificate for performing medical and surgical abortion
- Participation in congresses on fetal medicine, on ultrasound in obstetrics and gynecology, the first BAMIRS congress with international participation of SLS, conference and symposium on reproductive medicine, BAMIRS
- Postgraduate professional qualification in health management, 2023
- Member of the Bulgarian Association of Minimally Invasive and Robotic Surgery and the Bulgarian Medical Association
