She graduated from the Medical University of Pleven in 1995 and obtained her specialty in Ophthalmology in 2005.
After graduating, Dr. Shamova worked for four years at MDC Zakrila-Generali, three years at MDC New Medical, three years at MDC OZOK, and several years at MC Toraks, Sofia. Since April 2020, she has been part of the team of specialists at DCC VITA.
