Dr. Surchev graduated from the Medical University of Sofia with highest honors. He obtained his specialty in Ophthalmology at SOBAL "Acad. Pashev". In 2013, he defended a doctoral dissertation on the topic "Influence of Preoperative Risk Factors in Corneal Transplantation".

Dr. Surchev is a member of the Union of Ophthalmologists in Bulgaria (SOLB), the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS), the Sofia Ophthalmological Society, and the Bulgarian Medical Association. He regularly participates in scientific forums with presentations and has publications in scientific journals.
Biography:
From 2009 to 2013, Dr. Surchev completed his residency at SOBAL "Acad. Pashev". Since 2013, he has been a specialist in ophthalmology at SOBAL "Acad. Pashev", and since June 17, 2019, he sees patients at VITA Base 1.
