Dr. Rupen Sarkis Mektubdzhiyan graduated from the Medical University of Sofia in 1992 and began working in the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery at MBALСМ Pirogov, where he completed his residency in general surgery under Prof. Georgi Zlatarski. In 1998, he obtained his specialty in General Surgery.
From 1998 to 2000, he specialized in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at the Burns Clinic of MBALСМ Pirogov, the Hand Surgery Department of SBAL of Orthopedics Gorna Banya, the SBAL of Maxillofacial Surgery, and the Clinic of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Alexandrovska Hospital.
In 2000, he obtained his specialty in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.
In 2011, he began working in the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Tokuda Hospital, in the team of Assoc. Prof. Evstatiev.
In September 2020, he joined the team of MBAL Skin Systems, and from October 1st of that year became part of the team at VITA Hospital.
Member of the Bulgarian Medical Association, BAPREH, and ISAPS.
