Dr. Stefan Pavlov has been part of the DCC VITA team since 2019. Since 2017 he has worked at the National Cardiology Hospital.

Dr. Stefan Pavlov is a cardiology specialist in Sofia with over 6 years of experience. He performs diagnosis and treatment of cardiological diseases, arterial hypertension, ischemic heart disease, rhythm and conduction disorders, heart failure, ECG and echocardiography (EchoCG). His scientific interests are in the field of diagnosis and treatment of adult patients with congenital heart malformations, pulmonary thromboembolism, ischemic disease, heart failure, valvular defects, rhythm-conduction disorders, arterial hypertension.

He is an investigator in numerous clinical trials in:

• atients with heart failure
• ischemic heart disease
• cardiomyopathies
• chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension
• mixed hyperlipidemia (Prominent, New Amsterdam, Oceanic - Af, Select, Empact - Mi, Dapa - Hf, Emperor - Reduced, Paragon, Paradigm, etc.)

Education:

• He graduated from Medical University Sofia in 2017. He obtained his specialty in Cardiology in 2022.

Qualifications:

• Completed courses in comprehensive treatment of acute and chronic pulmonary thromboembolism in Hanover (Germany) in 2019 and Frankfurt (Germany) in 2020
• Author of the scientific article: "Current possibilities for diagnosis and treatment of chemotherapy-induced cardiomyopathy" published in the European Heart Journal
• Author of the scientific article: "Diagnosis of non-compaction cardiomyopathy - possibilities of Strain and Strain Rate" published in the journal Bulgarian Cardiology
• Participation in numerous national and international congresses in the specialty

Dr. Pavlov does not see pediatric patients.
