Dr. Ventsislav Shurliev, MD, PhD is a nephrologist with over 30 years of medical experience and more than 25 years of experience in clinical nephrology: establishing diagnoses, conducting treatment, and monitoring patients with various nephrological conditions. He has extensive experience in the treatment and monitoring of outpatients.
Education:
He graduated from the Medical University - Sofia in 1990. He obtained his specialty in nephrology, with specialized training at the Free University of Brussels (Erasmus) in 1998. He was awarded the educational and scientific degree "Doctor" with a dissertation titled "The Significance of Percutaneous Kidney Biopsy in Nephrological Practice".
Biography:
From his graduation in 1990 to 1994, Dr. Shurliev worked at the Regional Hospital Radomir. From 1995 to 2005, he practiced at the Clinic of Nephrology at ДУБЕГ "Acad. Ivan Penchev". From 2005 to May 31, 2022, he worked at УМБАЛ "Tsaritsa Yoanna - ИСУЛ". From June 1, 2022, he has worked at the Clinic of Endocrinology and Nephrology at Acibadem City Clinic УМБАЛ Tokuda. He is currently part of the team at DCC VITA.

- Certificate in kidney biopsies

He speaks French and English.
Dr. Shurliev does not see pediatric patients.
