Dr. Veronika Krastanova

Information

Dr. Veronika Krastanova is part of the team at DCC VITA, Sofia. She has worked at Acibadem City Clinic MBAL Tokuda Sofia, practiced at DCC 26 Sofia and at the office of the Association for Family Planning and Reproductive Health. Since 2021, she has been serving as Chairman of the Board of the Bulgarian Association for Family Planning and Sexual Health. Dr. Krastanova is an obstetrician-gynecologist in Sofia with over 20 years of experience.

She performs consultations, preventive care, and modern treatment of obstetric and gynecological conditions, all types of examinations and procedures (ultrasound and Doppler, colposcopy, hysteroscopy, laparoscopy, and others), as well as aesthetic gynecology (postpartum restoration, sexual dysfunction). Dr. Krastanova has extensive experience in the management of high-risk pregnancy, operative and normal obstetrics. She participates in the "Changing Narrative" program under the guidance of Paul Brody and Murray Nossel.

Education:

• Graduated from the Medical University of Sofia in 1999
• Obtained specialty in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2006 following residency at SBALAG "Maichin Dom" Sofia
• In 2018, completed a postgraduate program in Cosmetic Gynecology at the American Aesthetic Association in Dubai
• Completed a qualification course in colposcopy under the guidance of Prof. Albert Singer
• Specialized course in diagnostic and operative laparoscopy at the clinic of Prof. Dr. G. Gorchev
• Course in diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy

Qualifications:

• Ultrasound and Doppler diagnostics in obstetrics and gynecology
• Colposcopy and destructive treatment of precancerous conditions of the cervix
• Laparoscopy
• Hysteroscopy
• 2016 - Course in operative obstetrics and gestational hypertension in Maastricht
