Dr. Gergova-Marku has been part of the team of the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care at Hospital VITA since February 2024. She has over 15 years of clinical experience in the field of anesthesiology and intensive care.
Dr. Gergova-Marku graduated from Medical University - Sofia in 2007 with a "Master's degree in Medicine". In 2020 she obtained her specialty in Anesthesiology and Intensive Care. She has participated in numerous qualification courses, including:
- Regional anesthesia
- Nutritional support
- Anesthesiology in pediatrics
- Pain relief in obstetrics and gynecology
Before joining MBAL VITA, as an anesthesiologist-reanimatologist she held the same position at:
- University First MBAL "St. John the Baptist" (2023-2024)
- SBAL for Pulmonary Diseases "St. Sofia" (2020-2023)
At UMBALSM "Pirogov", Clinic of Burns and Plastic Surgery, she worked as a resident physician in the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care (2016-2020).
