Ivan Krumov M.D.

Information

Dr. Ivan Krumov graduated in Medicine in 2010 from the Medical University of Sofia. In April of the following year, he began working at SBALAGRM "Sofia".

In 2013, he won a competitive selection and started his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Tokuda Hospital Sofia, under the scientific supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Iliya Karagyozov. After completing his specialization, he worked as a senior physician in the Department of General and Oncologic Gynecology, Pelvic Surgery, and Obstetrics at Acibadem City Clinic Tokuda Hospital Sofia.

In December 2017, he officially obtained his specialty in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and since February 2018, he has been part of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Iliya Karagyozov’s team at VITA Hospital as a specialist in the Department of Operative Gynecology.

Qualifications:

• Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Office Hysteroscopy training workshop (Prof. Sergio Haimovich, MD, PhD)
• Colposcopic diagnosis and treatment of female genital precancerous conditions
• Diagnostic, office hysteroscopy, and operative hysteroscopy (UMHAT St. Marina, Pleven)
• Laparoscopic gynecologic surgery – Level I and II (UMHAT St. Marina, Pleven)
• Individual Hysteroscopy course (Prof. Stefano Bettochi – Bari, Italy)
• Current techniques in endometriosis surgical treatment – IRCAD, Strasbourg, France
• Difficult cases in colposcopy – Riga, Latvia (EFC)
• Laparoscopic surgery in gynecologic oncology – IRCAD, Strasbourg, France

Dr. Krumov is a member of the Bulgarian Medical Association (BMA); Bulgarian Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology (BSOG); Bulgarian Association of Gynecologic Oncology (BAGO); Bulgarian Association of Minimally Invasive and Robotic Surgery (BAMIRS).

His professional interests include assisted reproduction, operative gynecology, and gynecologic oncology. He performs examinations and modern treatment of obstetric and gynecologic conditions, including all types of tests and procedures. Dr. Krumov does not see children or follow pregnant women.
