Dr. Mimi Shumilina has been part of the VITA Medical Center team since 2024. She is a pediatrician with over 40 years of experience and extensive background as a neonatologist in a pediatric intensive care unit.
Dr. Shumilina provides:
- Examinations and consultations for children from birth to 18 years of age
- Well-child check-ups
- Immunizations
Education
Graduated from the Medical University of Plovdiv in 1986. Obtained her specialty in Pediatrics in 1995.
Qualifications
Has completed courses in intensive resuscitation and treatment of newborns, as well as training in transfontanelle ultrasound and numerous courses in intensive care in pediatrics. She has specialized in the field of congenital heart defects, diagnosis and treatment of congenital anomalies in newborns, and other specific pediatric conditions.
Member of the Bulgarian Medical Association, the Bulgarian Pediatric Association, and the Association of Neonatology. She has participated in numerous congresses and conferences in pediatrics and neonatology.
