Dr. Parvan Yanev has been part of the VITA Hospital team since October 2025. Prior to that, he practiced at the First Clinic of Orthopedics and Traumatology at University Emergency Hospital N. I. Pirogov, St. Virgin Mary – Announcer Medical Center in Sofia, Kinov Orthopedic Center, and AmeriMed Medical Center.
Dr. Yanev specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of traumatic and degenerative musculoskeletal conditions (sprains, fractures, arthrosis, inflammatory and degenerative diseases). His expertise includes soft tissue injuries, arthroscopic surgery, and sports traumatology. He administers intra-articular injections (blocks, hyaluronic acid) and applies platelet-rich plasma therapy (PRP). He also performs ultrasound diagnostics of hip joints in newborns and infants.
Education:
Graduated from the Medical University of Sofia in 2016. He obtained his specialty in Orthopedics and Traumatology after completing his residency at the First Clinic of Orthopedics and Traumatology at University Emergency Hospital N. I. Pirogov.

- Specialized at the ARI Research Center
- Completed numerous trainings in Luxembourg, Germany, Slovenia, Austria, Switzerland, Romania, Spain, and Scotland
- Author of several scientific publications in international journals
- Certified for advanced arthroscopic surgery
- AO Trauma courses: Basic; Advanced; Paediatric Musculoskeletal Injuries; Approaches and Osteosynthesis
- AO Recon courses: Principles of Total Hip and Knee Arthroplasty; Complex Total Hip and Knee Arthroplasty
- Additional training in arthroscopic surgery
He is a member of the Bulgarian Medical Association, the European Society of Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery and Arthroscopy (ESSKA), and the Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Osteosynthesefragen (AO Foundation).
Dr. Yanev speaks English and Russian.
