Symptoms:
Symptoms differ, depending on the occlusion place
• Brain embolism leads to insult and successive paralysis
• Occlusion of abdominal artery leads to acute abdominal pains
• Occlusion of blood vessel of the hand or leg leads to cooling down, loss of sensitivity and paralysis of the affected extremity
Therapy:
Urgent consultation at hospital institution, with vascular surgeon, if possible.
Complications:
Loss of function of affected organ or extremity
