The Gastroenterology Department provides treatment of oesophageal diseases - Gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GORD) and various diseases caused by viruses, autoimmune and systemic diseases, vascular conditions - most commonly in liver cirrhosis - including endoscopic band ligation, as well as diagnosis of oncological diseases of the oesophagus.
